    As shown. See complete photos. Found among my late mother’s things. Limited edition, numbered 731 of 1000.

    “This hardback, large sized, copyright 1937 by the Univ of Minnesota, contains 22 full page etchings (and smaller etches on opposite pages) of a pilgrimage of Spain made by S.(Samuel) Chatwood Burton beginning in 1922. The book covers are olive green cloth, endpapers are brown; brown spine with deep red title and bull fighter with cape embossed on front cover and gold lettering of the title and author on spine. No dust jacket; clean off white pages - one page description of etching and opposite page the etching. Spine in remarkable condition. This book is a limited edition of 1000 copies; numbered 731. S. Chatwood Burton was born in Manchester, England in 1881. He studied art in France. From 1914 until his death in 1947, he taught Fine Art and Architecture at the Univ. of Minnesota. He is known for landscape painting, etching, painting, sculpture and his teaching.”
