After purchasing these rigid jeans, I gave them a one-wash treatment.

I soaked them in lukewarm water for 40 minutes, then did a spin cycle, starched them, and air-dried them in a well-ventilated area.

I tried them on for only 30 minutes with a rolled-up hem, but the size didn't fit, so I'm reluctantly putting them up for sale.
